Day 7 of 21 Authority Thank You for the authority that You have given me through Your name. What would you say if I told you that God has already given you all the authority you need? Those who have authority can walk in confidence knowing that they have some higher authority backing them up. Sheriff’s deputies have the authority of the badge that was given to them to represent the Sheriff and his or her authority. Soldiers walk in the authority of orders passed down to them from their superiors. Jesus Christ has given us all the authority to overcome all things and nothing will harm us! Isn't that encouraging? Let’s walk in that humble confidence today. Let’s thank God today for His authority. In what areas of your life do you need to use your God-given authority? Prayer - God, I thank You today for the authority You have given me through Your son, Jesus. I ask that You would show me the areas in my life that I have allowed to overtake me.
