So Be It / Day 14

So Be It

Day 14 of 50

Throughout its history, God’s people, Israel, had a tendency to forget all that God had done for them and turn to the worship of idols and their own ways. This happened over and over. Does this ever happen to you? You experience the goodness of God in your life only to let time go by and turn back to your old ways. God knows this is going to happen to us. He’s seen it before, and we will likely do it again. But God, in His grace and mercy is still calling us forward. Let’s turn our gaze from our past, the comfortable and the known. Let’s focus forward on His future, the possibilities and the unknown as we grow with God.

Lord, open my eyes to the new things you have in store for me. Turn my focus from my old ways towards the new that I may walk with you and fulfill your purpose for my life and for your Kingdom. Amen and So Be It. Isaiah 43:18-19

Isaiah 43:18-19 KJV

18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
