Day 6 of 7

T'SHUVA: Which means TO TURN AROUND

Our English Bible often speaks of "repentance," which we often define as regret or being sorry. But the Hebrew word translated as repentance is t'shuva, which more accurately means "to turn back." T'shuva means to turn away from evil and turn toward God. It's when you're heading the wrong way and you turn the steering wheel around to go in the other direction.
On a spiritual level, t'shuva is when a person changes the course of his or her life. As theologian Abraham Heschel puts it; "a change in man's conduct brings about a change in God's judgement." When we t'suva-turn away from the darkness and turn toward the light-God promises to take control of the wheel and direct us toward His light.
Do you need to t'suva today? Do you need to take a moment right now to turn around and face God?

Psalms 19:1 KJV

Joel 2:12 KJV

12 Therefore also now, saith the Lord , turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
