ENOUGH LOVE / Draw Near Bible App

ENOUGH LOVE

Emmet Fox said, "There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer; no disease that enough love will not heal; no door that enough love will not open; no gulf that enough love will not bridge; no sin that enough love will not redeem." It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble, how hopeless the outlook, how muddled the tangle, how great the mistake. A sufficient amount of love will dissolve it all. If only we could love enough, we would be the happiest beings in the world. Love really is the key.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can. But we cannot love just because we will to do it. First of all, we must come to the source of love, Jesus Christ. The closer we are drawn to Him, the more we are like Him: But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).

The highest expression of love is depicted in John 3. In this marvelous chapter, we learn that love gives, love does not condemn, and love reconciles. Jesus was the Father's ultimate expression of love. May we choose to be God's love incarnate in our families and our world. Paul said "Love suffers long." That is, it endures all things.

“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬
