Is He also the good Father God of the African Christians whose whole villages are being decimated? The Father God of the Christians in the Middle East who are being tortured, raped, burned alive, beheaded? Yes! Jesus said: “Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven” (Matthew 5:11–12). God has eternal eyes. He sees that great parade of those who have suffered marching through gates of splendor, singing the victors’ song.
