So Be It |
Day 26 of 50It’s a reality that when we pray we often pray in our hour(s) of need. Jesus did. Look at how Jesus prayed in that moment. He prayed with the purpose of His life in mind. He says, “it is for this very reason I came to this hour…” Then because He knew His purpose, He was able to pray, “Father, glorify your name!” He was able to surrender to His Father in prayer because he was fully aware of His purpose. Do you know your purpose when you pray? Can you surrender to the Father in prayer or do you simply ask Him to surrender to your requests?Jesus, help me to pray like you. Give me a clearer sense of my purpose so that when I make my petitions known, I am doing so out of the purpose you have called me to. I want to surrender to the Father. In your name I pray, So Be It. John 12:27-28 John 12:27-28 KJV
27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. |
