So Be It / Day 4

So Be It

Day 4 of 50

What if we understood the truth of these passages? What if we were to live our lives longing to be in the presence of our Lord and Savior, knowing that his dwelling far exceeds anything that this world can offer?

Father, I long to be in your presence, and I pray that you would be my greatest joy. I want you at the center of my life and of everything that I do—protect me from idols that look to distract me from your glory. May my heart be ever drawn to you. May your will be my greatest ambition. Thank you for knowing my inmost being. Draw me closer to you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen and So Be it! Psalms 84:1-2 Psalms 84:10-11

Psalms 84:1-2 KJV

1 How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!

2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord : my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

Psalms 84:10-11 KJV

10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
