So Be It / Day 28

So Be It

Day 28 of 50

Ever find yourself feeling “lucky” to have authority or influence over something? The Most High God put you there. What about feeling overlooked or mistreated by someone with authority over you? Get ready… The Most High God put them there. On first glance, we can read this verse and feel a little like pawns in a divine chess game. Give it a chance with further reflection (setting pride aside helps too), and we can read that verse as it truly is, and begin to feel holy stress relief. The Most High God is sovereign. Over all. Over you. It’s not His power play. It’s the way He loves and the way you find freedom.

Most Sovereign Lord, your hand is in all circumstances. When I am given power of influence, help me to use it in ways that please you. When I am placed under the authority of another, teach me to honor you in how I honor them. Whether I am leading or following, I trust in you and your sovereign plan for my life. Amen and So Be It. Daniel 5:21

Daniel 5:21 KJV

21 And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.
