So Be It / Day 33

So Be It

Day 33 of 50

It would be an understatement to say, “I have paid my share of ‘dumb taxes.’ ” There is something within us that wants to blaze new trails, climb new mountains and boldly go where no fool has gone before. The problem, however, is a propensity to let God just “sit this one out,” whatever the bold venture. It's during these times, that we may experience burnout, a hill called “regret” or going off the “deep end.” What is it about us that believes we don’t need to pull over and ask for directions?

Let’s not do life without the guidance of God’s Word and His Holy Spirit. It’s just true. “Father knows best.” Each day, begin in God’s Word, seeking guidance for your day while allowing His Word to teach you and direct your thoughts. Allow God to be an internal “GPS,” and discover the One who saves you from making foolish decisions, and find fresh hope that He isn’t through with you yet.

Gracious God, thank you for your Word and your Spirit as I invite you to direct my paths today. Teach me to love your decrees and to walk with an awareness of your Spirit throughout this day you call a gift. In Your Name I pray, Amen and So Be It. Psalms 25:5

Psalms 25:5 KJV

5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
