So Be It

Day 37 of 50 You know that friend that you can’t ride in the back seat with when he is driving? He likes to look in the rearview mirror when he’s talking to you…or worse yet, he turns around to look at you face to face. When he does that, he swerves all over the road and puts lives in danger! Where do you look as you’re making your way down the pathway of life? Do you get distracted by other people? Do you careen from side to side because you get distracted by the circumstances or trials of life? When we have a personal relationship with Christ, we can keep our eyes on Him and He is faithful to keep us on a straight path. Father, thank you for the hope that I have when I trust you. Thank you that I know you are faithful. Thank you that I do not have to swerve my way through life, distracted by people or problems or pain. Help me keep my eyes on you and on your promises.
