So Be It | ![]() |
Day 47 of 50What a comfort to know God is thinking about you and your needs before you even ask! But maybe you’ve wondered, “Then why even ask?” A few reasons come to mind. First, God wants us in conversation with him as a Father who knows us and provides for us. Second, he wants us to know him in personal relationship, not just as a vending machine. Third, he isn’t just seeking to answer your prayer; he is building your faith. Fourth, maybe he just likes to hear your voice, in the same way that your loved ones enjoy hearing it when you call them!Dear God, Thank you for knowing me so well and caring for me so much that before I even mention my requests, you know my every need. Help me know you better, not just as a need-meeter in my life, but as a coach building my faith and a Father who loves to hear my voice. Today I’m asking you to meet my needs as Jesus promised you would. (Voice them now.) In Jesus’ name I pray, So Be It. Matthew 6:8 Matthew 7:7 Matthew 6:8 KJV
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Matthew 7:7 KJV
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
