Day 329 of 365Your Provider
When a widow cried out to Elisha for help, the prophet's response probably seemed absurd. "What do you have in your house?" he asked. As it turned out, the little oil she had was enough. God multiplied her meager resources until she had enough oil to sell to pay her debts. Imagine how her faith also multiplied after each jar was filled. Each time we sense God working in our circumstances, our faith grows. J.I. Packer once observed, "You will never need more than God can supply."
REFLECT & PRAY:
*In what ways has God already given you what you need - as a provider, a believer, a husband or a father?
*How did that help you grow in your faith?
*What can you do to develop a greater reliance on God's ability to multiply what you have in order to provide for you?

2 Kings 4:2 KJV
2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.
