Are Your Living a Lie?
“Dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1
Satan tricks many people today by making them think they will become a religious fanatic if they live a holy life. They want to see how close to the world they can live. They do not necessarily want to drink, but they will go to a pub, sit with their friends, and sip ginger ale so no one will know the difference. Why can’t they just go ahead and be holy? Why don’t they just take a stand for Jesus Christ?
Jesus says in Revelation 3:15-16, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth.” He would rather have us on the wrong side of the fence than sitting on the fence!
