Draw Near / THERE IS A WAY

THERE IS A WAY

Three pupils received a difficult math problem from their teacher. "You will find it difficult," he said, "but there is an answer!" After repeated attempts, the first student gave up saying, "It can't be solved." A few minutes later, the second student laid down his pencil in disgust saying, "There is no way." But, the third student kept trying until he succeeded. After it was done, he said, "I knew there was a way to solve it because the teacher said it could be done."

God knows the tangles of life are hard to unravel. He knew there were many things Luke's friend did not understand. For this reason, He inspired Luke to write Theophilus a long letter saying there were answers to life's problems because the Master said there were. That letter is the book of Luke--a book that tells of Jesus, Who is the answer to the difficult issues of life and eternity.

If you ever are tempted to think the problems of life cannot be solved, just remember Luke wrote to Theophilus outlining the Master's formula for living. The message was not only for Theophilus but also for us. It was written that we, too, may be certain of God's presence, help, guidance, and love.

“That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬
