Providential Provision by David Jeremiah

Providential Provision

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.
Genesis 3:15

In the same moment that God released Adam and Eve to the consequences of their disobedience, He spoke a promise of redemption and healing over their future. Jesus would bridge the gap between God and man, restoring all that was lost and broken.

When a person makes a promise, they stand behind it. Their promise is only as powerful as their track record of fulfilling their promises. God’s track record is perfect. Simply look at Jesus as the fulfillment of God’s promise to Adam and Eve in the Garden, even as they walked into a valley of hardship.

God’s promises are defined, determined, and dynamic. Nothing can separate us from Him or the fulfillment of His promises. God has the power to turn things around in an instant. Every person is either going through a challenge, emerging on the other side of a challenge, or about to embark into a challenge. It’s easy to become discouraged in the daily rise and fall of situations and relationships and to forget we have a solid and secure Anchor and a Hope.

We don’t postulate, speculate, or fabricate. We don’t toss and turn in anxiety. We simply know. We know God…we know…His providence, and we can trust His provision.
