SEED OF TRUTH
Read Ephesians 4:9-14.
“(Now this expression, "He ascended," what does it mean except that He also had descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, so that He might fill all things.) And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;”

PLANT THE SEED
Quietly recite today's focus verse to yourself. Hide it in your heart and meditate on it throughout the day.
Ephesians 4:13
"Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ."
WATER THE SEED
Are you doing everything that you can to be equipped to carry out the ministry the Lord has called you to? As a wife? As a mother? As a teacher? As a fellow servant? Where is there a need in your church? The nursery? The welcoming committee? The food bank? Are you actively serving where there is a need? Where is your focus? Do you need to make any changes?
All I can hear is Christ's words in the Sermon on the Mount: "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33). Would you ask God to make that your focus, your passion, your desire? And would you make that passion real and active by acting on it? Is there anything that you would have to stop seeking so that you can truly seek first His kingdom?
BEAR THE FRUIT
Attain to the unity of the faith.
CLOSE IN PRAYER
Ask the Lord to bring to life all that has been planted in your heart today.
