A Peaceful Mind
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true…, noble…, just…, pure…, lovely…, of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8
In Philippians 4, the apostle Paul revealed his plan for having a peaceful mind. He told us to rejoice in the Lord (verse 4), to remember the Lord is at hand (verse 5), and to pray with petition and thanksgiving (verse 6). He also told us to meditate on things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. That can only mean one thing—meditating on the Word.
