Which Road Are You On? By Billy Graham

Which Road Are You On?
By Billy Graham
Jesus seemed always to classify people in two categories. He taught that there are two roads of life—the broad road and the narrow road. He did not give a third alternative. He said it’s either one or the other.

He said: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:13-14).

You cannot be neutral about eternal life. A lot of people try to ride the middle road—but there is no middle road. Jesus said if you’re not on the narrow road that leads to eternal life, then you must be on the broad road that leads to destruction.

Which road are you on? I want to tell you, if I did not know which road I was on, I would make sure, no matter what it cost.

What do you have to do? You have to be willing to renounce your sin—you can’t drag all your old sins and bad habits through the small gate. It’s too narrow. Then by faith you receive Christ as your Savior.

Give your life to Christ. Turn from the broad road to the narrow road today.

Today’s Prayer

Dear Jesus, thank You for forgiving my sins and for setting my feet on the narrow path. Please guide my steps daily as I live for You and continue my journey to eternal life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
