One of the world's tallest self-standing structures is a communications tower located in Toronto, Canada. The CN tower rises a third of a mile and houses a revolving restaurant, observation roof, and antennas for radio and television stations. High above buildings, the transmission mast eliminates "ghosting" caused by high rising construction. Because of their height, the radio and television stations reach vast new audiences on the North American continent.
We all recognize the importance of communication. Millions of dollars are spent yearly to keep the signals clear. It has rightly been said, "He who can control communication, controls a nation." Jesus understood the absolute necessity of clear communication between men and also between God and man. Therefore, He took time to establish a pattern prayer so we might keep our signals clear (Matthew 6:9-15).
A careful study of this "Lord's Prayer" reveals many secrets to prayer success. In it are all the elements: praise, reverence, petition, and gratitude.
““Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.”
Matthew 6:9 NASB
