“Get into the Word and understand that God sees you as His daughter,” she told the Christian Post. “Our prayer is not that we get what we want, but that our desires match up with God’s desires for our life.”
Kirsten is a homeschooling mother, so imagine what her day looks like. Yet she doesn’t miss her time with the Lord in daily Bible study and prayer. She knows “how [the children] treat each other, how they see themselves. All of that is derived out of where I am in my own walk with the Lord.”[1]
Everyone is too busy nowadays. But that’s just when we most need to carve out time for the God who keeps us sane and saintly. Don’t neglect HIM.
