You Were Seen By Karen Kingsbury If you’re like me, you’re asking, how can I make a difference? Most of all, how can I love in the midst of so much hate? Jesus gave us His answer. In Matthew 28:16–20, He told us to go and make disciples. But between the pandemic, the murder of George Floyd and the ensuing riots, how are we supposed to fulfill that calling? Ask God to help you really see people—the cashier and food server, police officer and delivery person, hairstylist and postal worker, doctor and medical tech. Simply look into the eyes of that person and thank them. Tell them they matter and that what they do is important. Then consider handing them a “You Were Seen” card and a generous tip if expected. At YouWereSeen.com, visitors will read: You were seen today because of your hard work. But—even better—you are seen by God every day. The world will know we are Christians by our love, right? That’s what Jesus taught. So, let’s get out there and love well. Let’s be thankful and generous—one person at a time.

TODAY’S PRAYER Heavenly Father, help me to see people through Your eyes and hear people with Your heart. Fill me with Your compassion for the people I encounter every day, and may they see You in me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
