His Ways, Our Ways
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. Isaiah 55:8 The pre-eminent lesson to be learned in the Christian life is to walk by faith. For years, we navigate this world on the basis of our five senses. Then we are called to subordinate our “sight” (our senses) to faith and trust: “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). Instead of believing what we see, we are called to trust what we can’t see or sense. We are called to trust God’s ways more than our own ways. |
