Though Troubles Assail Us by David Jeremiah

Though Troubles Assail Us

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
Psalm 34:17

Have you finished your Christmas shopping? Don’t forget to give Christ something this year. Give Him your troubles. No one else would want them, but Jesus is glad to bear them because it’s an indication of your faith and trust in Him.

Psalm 34

When David was running from his enemies, he said, “This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles….Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” (Psalm 34:6, 8) Your Lord will provide answers, peace, hope, and grace for every situation.

John Newton, the author of “Amazing Grace,” wrote another hymn that says:

Though troubles assail us
And dangers affright,
Though all friends should fail us
And foes all unite,
Yet one thing secures us,
Whatever betide,
The promise assures us,
“The Lord will provide.”
