What Is the World Coming to? By Billy Graham Millions of people all over the world are desperate to know what the future holds. We see the news, and we ask, “What is the world coming to?” In the midst of the pessimism, the gloom and the frustration of this present hour, there is one hope—the promise of Christ: “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again” (John 14:3). Jesus died upon the cross, rose again from the dead and ascended to the right hand of God the Father. And the next great event is His coming back. Are you and those you love ready for Christ’s return?

TODAY’S PRAYER Heavenly Father, while I expectantly await Christ’s return, give me a sense of urgency that compels me to share the Gospel in word and deed with my family, neighbors, friends and co-workers. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
