Fixing Our Eyes On God By R.T. Kendall What would happen if God completely took His hand off America? It has actually been happening before our eyes—with violence, the scarcity of solid Gospel preaching, hatred for Biblical values and “cancel culture.” What we are witnessing currently is unprecedented in America. Yet, I’m reminded of Joshua’s instruction for the Israelites to keep their eyes on the Ark of the Covenant as they prepared to enter Canaan. As long as they kept their eyes on the Ark, they would be safe. The Ark of the Covenant was a symbol of the glory of God. That symbol is fulfilled in the New Testament in Jesus Christ. What are we to do? We fix our eyes on Jesus, “the founder and perfecter of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2).  READ MORE

TODAY’S PRAYER Heavenly Father, help me to keep my eyes focused on You instead of my problems or fears. May You alone be glorified when others see Your righteousness in me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
