When God Distresses a Nation By Tony Evans Throughout Scripture, whenever God wanted to reorient and reset things, He would disrupt them first. I call this divine disruption. So with all the chaos of 2021, we’re either on the verge of the Second Coming of Christ or God is doing a major reset. The solution is given to us in 2 Chronicles 15:4: “But when in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them.” God wants us to look to Him. Through fasting and prayer, we prepare for God to intervene in our lives, circumstances and world. And when we feel the pains of hunger, they are to remind us to be hungry for Him. TODAY’S PRAYER Heavenly Father, help me to recognize You in daily disruptions and distresses. I claim Your promise to never leave me nor forsake me. May your abiding presence transcend any circumstance I face. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
