God Will Stand with You

Stand up for God, and he will stand with you. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon made an image of gold and ordered everyone to bow before it. Anyone who refused would be thrown into a blazing furnace. Three Jews refused—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—and they did not waver.
Not only were they untouched by the flames, there was also a fourth man, who had a divine appearance in the furnace with them. Yes, Jesus stood with those who stood for him. “Then Nebuchadnezzar said, ‘Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego…!'” (Daniel 3:27–28). Yes, the attempts of the devil backfired. They did then, and they do still.
