Joy / NKJV 365

Joy

Everyone enjoys being paid a compliment. Recently my husband, who doesn’t care much for shopping, purchased a very nice shirt for himself. He didn’t reveal his purchase until the following Sunday morning. He looked so handsome, and I didn’t hesitate to tell him so. I was proud he had forged ahead through the department store to make such a nice purchase. Our heavenly Father deserves the highest of compliments from us, His children. If you want to get God’s full attention, praise Him. If your life is experiencing a deficit in the joy department, pay Him the most wonderful compliments your vocabulary will allow. He showers you with lavish blessings, return thanks with extravagant praise. Your life will be much richer, fuller, and deeper.
