A Priceless Gift
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15 In 1915, the world-famous Neiman Marcus retailer sent out a Christmas card inviting customers to do their holiday shopping at the store. In 1926, the card was replaced by a sixteen-page catalog containing specialty gifts—and the Christmas Book tradition continues to this day. Each year, it is filled with unusual and extravagant gifts: hot air balloons, camels, robots, submarines, Egyptian mummy coffins (mummy included), and expensive luxury cars. Some gifts are moderately priced, but others—like a Boeing business jet for more than $35 million—are beyond the reach of most customers. |
