God Is Everywhere
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
Psalm 139:7, nkjv
You and I can only be in one place at any given time because we are bound by space. Right now I am at my desk in my home. As much as I might like to be with my parents four hours away or with my son in California or with my daughters in Texas, I can only be in one place, and for now it’s right here, in my study, working at my computer. But God can be everywhere at once. God, in all of His fullness, is present
with pastors in Bosnia trying to keep the unity of the Spirit in the midst of generations of division,
with Christians in Rwanda seeking to glorify God in the midst of an earthly hell,
with Christians in South Africa seeking to love one another equally,
with me, as I write this book, and with you as you read it!
Where did you think God was not? God is everywhere!
