Jesus places a high value on children. He was greatly displeased when the disciples rebuked those who were bringing little ones to Him. “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God,” He said in Mark 10:14. It is important to bring children to a place where they can encounter and be blessed by Jesus. See that they are taught how to listen to His voice as He speaks through His Word. And then love them to Jesus … tattoos, piercings, hoodies, green hair, ear buds and all.
Heavenly Father, show me how to let the young people in my life know that You love them. Help me to teach them how to hear Your voice, like Eli did for Samuel. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
