Verses for June 14

🌺🐝

“Commit your works to the Lord and your plans will be established. Better is a little with righteousness than great income with injustice. The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver. Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before stumbling. He who gives attention to the word will find good, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord. Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit, than he who captures a city.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭3‬, ‭8‬-‭9‬, ‭16‬, ‭18‬, ‭20‬, ‭24‬-‭25‬, ‭32‬ ‭

“The wise men are put to shame, they are dismayed and caught; Behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord, and what kind of wisdom do they have?”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭8‬:‭9‬ ‭

“Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience, But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth. So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men,”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭2‬, ‭5‬-‭6‬, ‭8‬, ‭12‬-‭13‬, ‭17‬, ‭23‬
